Halo semua, welcome to my blog. Saat ini materi pelajaran Bahasa Inggrisku tentang Curriculum Vitae (CV). So, disini aku mau sharing tentang materi Curriculum Vitae nich.   

 

Kalian bingung ya, apasih Curriculum Vitae atau daftar riwayat hidup itu😧? Sebelum melamar sebuah pekerjaan, biasanya Anda pasti akan dimintai Curriculum Vitae. Nah, pastinya Anda harus mengetahui lebih dalam tentang CV dong. Tapi jangan khawatir, stay cool bro/sist. Di sini akan aku jelasin secara simple dan nggak neko-neko kok, chill lah. A.  Definition

Documents that detail a person's curriculum vitae in detail, a summary of experience, qualifications and achievements, what were past achievements, how was the experience of the job position applied for.

Sebelum membuat CV kita harus tau tuch gimana struktur/urut-urutan dalam membuatnya. Berikut penjelasannya teman-teman :

e.g.: In secondary school, I was motivated to work on various class projects and assignments.

e.g.: Last week I suggested an innovative idea to my supervisor.

e)     Excellent Communication Skills/a Good Communicator

e.g.: Customer service representatives require excellent communications skills.

f)      Professional

e.g.: She's always been professional in her dealings with both customers and co-workers.

g)    To Use a Creative Approach (to Problem-Solving)

e.g.: They used a creative approach to make their idea into a successful business.

h)    Good Organizational Skills

e.g.: In this position, good organizational skills are required to be able to manage a heavy workload.

D.  Functions of Curriculum Vitae

a)     Introduce myself

b)    Classifying applicants: making it easier to find suitable candidates.

c)  Know and describe your abilities and talents: make it easier for companies to know your qualifications.

d)   Determining salary: makes it easier for the government to determine how much salary is appropriate to be given to applicants if indeed applicants are accepted at the company.


E.   Type of CV or resume

1)    Curriculum Vitae based on chronological order

This type of CV emphasizes education and work experience in chronological order. This model CV will show your career development. This CV structure format starts from the most recent work experience.

2)    Curriculum Vitae based on skills

This type of CV is more focused on skills than work experience. Its function is to convince the employer that you have the skills needed to do the job. 

F.   How to Make an Interesting CV

a)     Pay attention to what to write first.
b)    Pay attention to the writing and don't get typos
c)     Make your CV attractive and easy to read
d)    Don't be too long
e)     Take advantage of CV templates
 

G.  That Must be Included in the CV

a) Personal data: full name, place and date of birth, address, telephone number and email address.

b)  Work experience: what positions have you occupied, internship experience or even volunteering.

c)   Educational history: detailed information about your educational history, such as schools and universities, and any degrees you have earned.

d)  Organizational experience: as a consideration whether you have qualified leadership.

e) Training/seminar experience: the number of listed trainings or seminars makes you look like a person who is quite competent and has the necessary expertise.

f) References: people who can provide information about their experience working with you.


H.  Mistakes to Avoid When Making a CV

a) Don't be too creative, but make it professional with a simple appearance including the use of fonts. Use plain white paper and black ink when printing.

b)    Do not ask in advance about the format required by the recruiter.

c)  There is no need to enter personal information such as hobbies or interests.

d)    Make sure you don't use an email with an unprofessional or random name.

e)   Not re-checking the CV that was made, such as typos, name errors, grammar, certain information and so on.

TUTORIAL SAT SET LOLOS WAWANCARA KERJA (JOB INTERVIEW)

Interview kerja adalah momen yang bikin "dag dig dug" alias deg-degan, cemas, gugup, sebelum maupun saat menghadapi interview tersebut. Terutama bagi para pelamar yang sudah lama memimpikan sebuah pekerjaan. Kenapa? Jawabannya ya karena interview kerja adalah momen dimana perusahaan akan menilai secara langsung melalui jawaban sampai sikap kita dalam menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang diberikan. Pasti tremor woiii.

Sebelumnya kita harus tahu yang dimaksud job interview tuh apa? Tapi tenang di bawah ini akan dijelasin kok maksud dari job interview tuh apa. Simak secara detail yaa! Jangan sampai ada yang ketinggalan/kelewatan lohh!!

  • Definition

Job interview is a conversation which occurs between a potential employer and a job applicant, to help determine whether a job candidate has the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to do the job.

Job Interview atau wawancara kerja merupakan suatu tahapan yang pastinya akan dilalui oleh setiap pencari pekerjaan. Supaya lebih siap dan lancar ketika melakukan interview kerja, kita harus prepare dulu kan pastinya. 

So, mempersiapkan diri untuk menghadapi interview di perusahaan yang diminati, adalah hal yang tepat untuk mendapatkan respon baik dan menambah nilai plus agar pewawancara tertarik untuk memperkerjakan pelamar. Apabila Anda adalah salah satu dari sekian banyak yang sedang mencari pekerjaan, jangan khawatir! Berikut ini akan aku jelasin nih beberapa persiapan penting yang harus dilakukan sebelum interview, apalagi buat para fresh graduate yang baru pertama kali menghadiri interview. Apa aja sih persiapannya? Pertama, kita harus tahu ekspresi/kalimat apa aja yang digunakan pas interview kerja. Yuk simak penjelasan tentang ekspresi atau kalimat job interview berikut ini!

a)  Questions about personal information

e.g.: Hi! So, my name is Maulida Ismin Nisa’

b)  Draw attention to your education and qualifications, or any formal training you may have received

e.g.: I graduated from (university/college etc.) in (the year)… 

c)  Focus on your work experience and your career so far

e.g.: I worked for (company name) as a (job role)…

d)  Make sure you highlight your language skills

e.g.: I have effective communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing.

e)  Include any technical expertise or projects that might be relevant to the role

e.g.: I am very proud of (the last project I was involved in) because...

f)  Use intensifiers to make stronger statements

e.g.: I am very organized and extremely focused.

g)  Describe what motivates you

e.g.: I am self-motivated.

h)  Focus on your work experience

e.g.: I worked in (sector) for (period of time)…

i)   Give examples of how you use your skills in a work setting

e.g.: I was involved in several projects…

j)   Demonstrate you can solve a problems

e.g.: A good example that comes to mind is...

k)  Explain about your background

e.g.: I was born in (country) and grew up in (country).

l)   Some interviewers may want to know what other interests you have outside of work

e.g.: I watch a lot of...

m) You may be asked to talk about how you’d like to develop and where you see yourself in the future

e.g.: I would like to take on more responsibility.

n)  Ask the interviewer questions to find out if the job and the company is the right one for you

e.g.: When are you hoping for someone to fill this position? 

Memahami berbagai etika saat interview kerja merupakan hal yang sangat penting. Karena, pihak pewawancara tidak hanya menilai pelamar dari jawaban yang disampaikan saat wawancara kerja. Sikap dan etika saat wawancara kerja juga diperhatikan dan dinilai oleh mereka. Apabila etiket yang kamu tunjukkan ketika wawancara kerja buruk, bukan tidak mungkin lamaranmu akan ditolak perusahaan, begitupun dengan sebaliknya.

Nah, berikut adalah berbagai etika yang perlu kamu perhatikan ketika wawancara kerja :

b)  Dress to impress

c)  Bring application files

d)  Friendly, courteous, and self-confident

e)  Body language : avoid playing with hair, crossing arms, not maintaining eye contact, turn your mobile phone off

f)   Don’t overshare

g)  Drink the water provided : drinking water can help you think for moment about the questions the interviewer will ask

h)   Smile : a smile can convey the quality of yourself as a professional

i)   Learn table manners : the interviewer will see how you manage yourself when eating with clients, solving problems, and looking for restaurant servers.

j)   Ask for relevant information about the company : this shows your interest and enthusiasm for working at the company you are applying for.

l)  Research information about the company : it this you can definitely learn valuable information about the company you are applying for.

m) Say thank you : t also shows your appreciation of the interviewer for the achievement of interviewing many job applicants

n)  Pay attention to the time of the interview : don't let you come late to your job interview session.
